Practice Management on Embodia - Part 2: Scheduling
The actions described in this lesson require a Manager permission on your clinic.
When a patient visits your online booking page, they will first land on the service category page where they can select a category. Here's an example of what that will look like, with the categories outlined in the red box:
After selecting a category, they can then select a service. Here's an example of what that will look like, with the services outlined in the red box:
After selecting a service, they will be redirected to the practitioners' page where they can select a practitioner offering the service.
By default, the call to action on each page is a generic text prompting the user to take an action. You can override the text for each page to suit your needs.
How to change the call to action
To change the call to action, go to My clinic > Scheduling settings > Online booking
Go to the Call to action section which will look like this:
To update any of the CTAs, click on the appropriate text box and type in your CTA. Use the formatting available such as making your text bold, italics, or using bullet points. When you have entered a new CTA make sure to click the Update CTAs button at the bottom to save the changes.
We will go through each section on this page and show an example of what it looks like when the call to action (or CTA) has been changed.
General CTA
By default, there is no general CTA. If you choose to add a general CTA it will be displayed on all of the online booking pages. Here's what it will look like:

The default service categories CTA is "We are pleased to offer you the following services. Select the one that best suits your need." You can choose to update it as outlined above. Here's an example of what the service categories CTA looks like on the patient's online booking page:

The default services page CTA is "For <selected category>, we are pleased to offer you the following treatment options. Select the one that best suits your need." You can choose to update it as outlined above. Here's an example of what the services page CTA looks like on the patient's online booking page:
Practitioners page CTA
The default practitioners page CTA is " <selected service> is offered by the following practitioners. Select which practitioner you would like to see." You can choose to update it as outlined above. Here's an example of what the practitioner page CTA looks like on the patient's online booking page:
